Brief description and main aimsLiceo “Fray Iván Rohloff” is a private school for 6-10 year old children of the rural community of Campamento, which offers pre-school and primary education. The school provides bilingual, Spanish-English, education, every year opening a new grade as children advance in their studies. The school provides scholarships to the children of families who can’t afford tuition. |
Main ActivitiesThe school promotes the importance of education for development, mixing the subjects of the official curricula with entrepreneurship education using the methodology of the organisation Real LEDGE (Leading Economic Development through Global Entrepreneurship – www.realledge.org; www.realledgehn.org), computer science, and a lot of emphasis in English language teaching. |

Volunteer requirements / Skills
The volunteer should:
A basic knowledge of Spanish, and a basic knowledge of English is an asset.
No particular studies is required, but pedagogic knowledge is appreciated.

The project is available to start in August and February every year for 6-12 months.
