Brief description and main aims

Mysore Public School is a residential day school affiliated to the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi, India (an offshoot of Cambridge curriculum and inter state anglo-Indian board curriculum).

Main Activities

Regular activities involve teaching and guiding students in the age-groups of 10 – 17 years. 

Volunteer tasks

The volunteers will get excelent cultural exposure to indian children as well as indian teachers and their families. They also get a tremendous opportinity to interact with the parents on the children. We offer french as a second language, therefore a volunteer with french knowledge would be helpful.

The volunteers will be involved in on-campus teaching as well as outdoor education of children, physical and mental development and cultural exposure. Volunteers are expected to provide the children with emotional support thorugh counselling.

Volunteer requirements / Skills

• English proficency
• We need a female volunteer to help with the Kindergarten children.
• Knowledge of french is an advantage.
